KMA Stuffs a Bus!

4 12 2009

Every year a local charitable organization, Cobb Christmas, sends a Cobb County transit bus to Kennesaw State University hoping to collect on the generosity of the KSU school community. The event is refered to as ‘Stuff-A-Bus,’ similar to how Santa stuffs his sleigh full of toys.

All together, the KSU volunteer community collected 2,660 items for in-need Cobb County families. Kennesaw Marketing Association helped contribute by collecting over 206 canned and packaged food goods. The donated items will be distributed to in-need Cobb County families before Christmas so that they can enjoy a more fulfilling holiday.

Thanks goes out to KMA volunteers who spent their evenings going door-to-door collecting goods from kind KSU students: Amy Luchkowec, Jerome Mallory, Rebecca Raffield, Megan Carter, Kara Elias, Liz Hawkins, Eric Southerland, and Chris Roell.
